Amir Oloomiyazdi is a skilled litigator with extensive experience representing clients in complex legal matters, including labor law, general liability, white-collar defense, real estate transactions, and personal injury cases.

Before joining Stiberman Legal as Of Counsel, Amir worked at national defense firms, where he focused on defending property owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, and subcontractors against personal injury claims arising from labor law violations, construction defects, and property damage disputes. His experience in these high-exposure cases has made him a trusted advocate for businesses and individuals facing litigation.

Earlier in his career, Amir was part of a prominent Manhattan boutique law firm, where he contributed to a widely covered federal case involving foreign bribery, corruption, and Sarbanes-Oxley violations. His work in this space led him to become one of the firm’s resident experts in Sarbanes-Oxley risk mitigation, overseeing domestic and international investigations, intelligence gathering, and compliance strategies.

Amir earned his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he trained as a mediator, resolving disputes in Manhattan Civil Court. He also served as a Research Assistant in the Securities Arbitration Clinic and interned for the Honorable Delores J. Thomas at the New York State Supreme Court. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Beyond his legal practice, Amir is an avid martial artist, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. He is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and is also a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and Professional MMA Manager.
